CEU Credits:
CEU Credits: This presentation is approved for 6 units of CA BBS CEU credits. Approval to
offer 6 hours of EMDRIA CE Credits have been applied for and is being reviewed. If
approved, that announcement will appear RIGHT HERE. Please don't write or call and ask
about EMDRIA CE credits. EMDRIA CE credits are only needed for those EMDRIA members
who are "certified" (or are applying for certification) and those who are
"approved consultants." TO
RECEIVE CEUS PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE THE ENTIRE DAY (SIX HOURS )
There will be no charge for
EMDRIA CEU's if we are able to offer them, however, there is a separate sign-in and
certificate, and you need to let us know when you make payment that you need EMDRIA CEU's.
If your check is for $70, we will assume that you wish to obtain CA BBS CEU's @ $15 for
the 6 hours. This cost is up from the past 12 years due to a policy that the BBS has
adopted making the process of getting approval for CE's difficult and quite time
consuming.
CEU's
CA BBS CEUs will be available for California
MFTs and Social Workers for a ten dollar fee. No State CEU's will be available for
M.D.'s or Psychologists. This six hour presentation meets the qualifications for 6
hours of continuing education credit for MFT's and LCSW's as required by the California
Board of Behavioral Sciences. The course is sponsored by Philip Manfield, whose provider
number is PCE 3429, and who is responsible for the content of this program. A
description of the course can be found by clicking on the name of the presenter in the
right column of this page.
Approval for 6 hours of EMDRIA
credits for the day has been applied for and is being reviewed. Please watch this site for up-to-date
information about EMDRIA credits. DO NOT WRITE OR CALL ABOUT IT. As soon as we know
it will appear HERE. If credits are granted, they may be granted retroactively after the
event has taken place. We will do our best to obtain approval in a timely way.
If you need these CEU's and they are approved, be sure to fill out both the EMDRIA
sign-in/sign-out sheet as well as the standard sign-in/sign-out sheet. EMDRIA credits may
be available, but only to those attendees who have completed all parts of an EMDRIA
Approved Basic EMDR Training. EMDRIA credits are of value only to those who are planning
to become EMDR certified through EMDRIA.

For people coming from out-of-town, the downtown Oakland

can park in the garage directly across the street from the main gate of Preservation Park,
and there will be NO CHARGE. We have paid the city to keep this garage open for us on
Saturday. The parking garage entrance is directly across the street from Preservation Park
at the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and 12th Street. Park in any open spot (there
are 200) including those that say "PERMIT ONLY." Exit the Martin Luther King Jr.
Way side of the lot, and cross diagonally to Preservation Park. PLEASE NOTE: All vehicles MUST be removed from the garage by 6pm or they
